The College of Computer, Mathematical and Physical Sciences at the University of Maryland will host a brief program
to a limited audience invited by the Dean that will showcase the capabilities of the
CSIC building. CSIC, the new
Computer Science Instructional Center, is a new building devoted to high tech instruction in computer science, as
well as to innovative research in scientific computation, housing CSCAMM on its fourth floor.
The gathering will begin in the CSIC lobby at 2:45pm Thursday, September 30, 2004, and will include a demonstration
of the state-of-the-art technology in the first floor lecture hall, classrooms that will be toured through the 2nd
and 3rd floors, and the access grid facility in the CSCAMM seminar room.
An access grid session of researchers associated with the Living With a Star
(LWS) program is scheduled
