CSCAMM is part of the Access Grid, a network of more than 150 domestic and
international sites using high-speed Internet connections to enable truly
interactive meetings among participants. The access grid node delivers high performance synchronized
audio, data, and video to and from multiple locations over IP networks. This allows geographically
dispersed groups of people to participate in meetings, and collaborative work sessions.
The UMD-CSCAMM AG node is one of several Access Grid nodes at the University of Maryland, and one
of many nodes world-wide on the Access Grid, a suite of hardware, software,
and tools to facilitate collaboration over the Internet.
