High-Order Godunov-Type Schemes for Incompressible Flows

Dr. Doron Levy

Mathematics at Stanford University

Abstract:   We will present high-order Godunov-type schemes for approximating solutions of hyperbolic conservation laws and related equations. We will show how these schemes can be used for approximating solutions of the incompressible Euler and Navier-stokes equations in the vorticity, velocity and stream-function formulations.
