Exploring the self-force - post-Newtonian interface

To date, self-force calculations have had a number of successes, such as computing the gauge invariant red-shift parameter and the ISCO shift. By exploring the interplay between self-force and post-Newtonian approaches, we have recently been able to extend both, providing gauge invariant expressions for the particle energy and angular momentum, and higher order pN coefficients in the expressions for the energy and angular momentum of the whole system. Impact on EOB, and the SF at 2nd order are briefly discussed.
