Science Courses

SC students must take two graduate-level core science courses, designed to expose students to the fundamental theory of their chosen discipline. SC students have chosen some of the following courses to satisfy the core science requirements:

PHYS 622-625 Quantum Mechanics I and II, Intro and Advanced
METO 610-611 Dynamics of the Ocean and Atmosphere I and II
ASTR 600 Stellar Atmosphere, ASTR 620 Galaxies
GEOL 614 Thermodynamics of Geological Processes
GEOL 641 Advanced Structural Geology
